If anyone wants to try these out and let me know if they work, I’ll stock them.

As all you N9 fliers know, the crown gear is no longer available. I spoke to a fellow today that was able to modify the crown gear hub and use an MA0866-5 crown gear. He had to turn down the diameter of the hub so it would fit through the Miniature crown gear and he had to fiddle a little with the holes, but it worked and it worked well. He did have to shim it slightly. He’s going to send some pictures.
More to come.
Now if we can just find some booms.
The N5 Contender is the N5 with all of Matt Botos’ wishlist items included. It’s belt drive and flybarless. $610

Features:
o Synergy
o Standard
o 250 Class (Guai, T-Rex 250)
Be sure to download it to your hard drive. It’s 2mb and you don’t want to wait for it to reload between parts.
Click here. It can also be found by navigating to Synergy N9 Parts.
Open it and start clicking on parts. One browser window should open and show the part you clicked on. Or, if you already have a browser open, it will open the part. If the part doesn’t show immediately (it’s fast), check for a new tab. You can adjust your browser settings so it opens the part in the top window. See Store Help.
I also created a chart for the links and rods. You can find it in the N9 Links section.

In addition to the parts finder, I’ve put a link guide in the N5 Links Category here.

I uploaded the part finder for the Synergy N5 this morning. It works very well but it’s big. You definitely want to download it to your hard drive and run it with Adobe Reader.
You can get Adobe Reader here.
The Synergy line is still selling fairly well. The guys that are buying Synergys now are more serious about the hobby than average. Most have been in the hobby for at least 5 years or more and want a model that performs well.
In the early days of Synergy, there was more hype about the model. I think that is why more novice pilots were buying it then. As the experience level goes up the complaints go down. We have hardly any complaints about the model now days.
Hyperformance products used to be a no brainer addition to every Synergy kit. Since Synergy started making the SE parts, Hyperformance closed up shop.
I guess what I’m saying is this; if you’re looking for a great performing kit that isn’t exactly mainstream, consider the Synergy line.
