I give this two thumbs up! It includes an alligator clip that hooks onto your glow plug. When you're ready to start your engine, you push a button on the monitor/switch box. The plug lights for about 15 seconds. Very convenient.
The monitor tells you how much voltage you have in the battery. I don't rely on it, and prefer to check the voltage with a digital meter before each flight.
While there have been some issues with this regulator, we've been using them since they were introduced and they've never left us stranded or caused a crash.
