This is the third generation main gear case for pre-2011 600 Electric and Nitro. The new design reduces the chance of auto-rotation gear lock up, and is a clearly superior design. The auto-rotation gear turns very smoothly and with practically zero wobble. It is worth the money to upgrade.
If you are changing from the first generation gear case, you must also buy the H60020A auto-rotation gear.
