The Futaba 8FGHS has returned Futaba to the top of the heap in r/c helicopter radios.
With updatable firmware there's not really any reason to spend thousands on an R/C heli radio.
Since it's last update, the helicopter version of this radio actually has the capablility to operate 14 channels and it is fully compatible with the new CGY750 Three Axis Gyro! Awesome.

  • R6208SB receiver accepts a wide range of batteries, from 4-cell NiCd and NiMH packs to 2S LiFe and LiPo packs with no regulator required
  • Receiver is capable of controlling up to eight channels using the outputs for a conventional system and up to eighteen channels including the two digital channels by using the output for the S.BUS system, receiver also has a high-speed mode that delivers ultra fast frame rates on channels 1-6
