Are You Thinking of Moving Up?
Larger models are fun. They fly better in the wind. They go faster. They make more noise.They're a lot easier to see.
I see quite a few guys moving from a Blade 400 up to a 90 size Nitro model. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you have the money to feed a .90 size engine.
Please consider the following:
- Don't let anyone talk you into something you don't need.
- Consider your budget and remember that bigger machines not only cost more to fix, they cost more to operate.
- A model powered by a .50 class engine is very stable in the wind. You don't "need" a 90 size machine to fly outside.
- 50 class machines use a LOT less fuel than 90 size machines, and they are easier to start.
