Synergy News

I'm trying to make it easier to shop for Synergy parts. If you go to the online store and click on Kits and Parts the menu flys out to list all of the brands of machines. If you click on Synergy, you will go to an index page that lists all of the Synergy categories. You can bookmark that page and return to it directly when you need to order Synergy parts. I have a little more freedom to list the items that are in each category. I'm not finished though. I'm going to do a little catagorizing of my own. Keep an eye on that page. You can still choose a category from the flyout menu. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Matt Botos announced today that he would be taking over the distribution of Synergy products in the USA. Matt has been working with Synergy since it's introduction. Matt promises faster service, which we welcome. He also announced that the Synergy N5 50 size model would be competitively priced with other major products in the same class. Since we already had an order in for these kits, hopefully we'll get a full shipment on opening day. There still hasn't been an official word on the long term future of Synergy.

We just got a parts shipment, so, for now, things are still going okay.

We learned today that the owner of Synergy was killed in an automobile accident. The future of the line is uncertain at this time. Several people have expressed interest in taking over the company and some of them actually have the money to do it. We offer our condolences to Stephan's family. He was a mysterious man that very few people knew well. I didn't know him, other than a few emails that we exchanged over the years. He was alway courteous to me. We did some business with each other and he always did what he said he was going to do. Not a bad way to be remembered.

My best guess is that the Synergy N5 will be on hold for quite a while. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get parts or not.

The Synergy lives. Anyone who owns one and has stuck with it long enough to get familiar with it, loves it. I get calls and emails all the time from owners expressing their hopes that we won't drop the line. We have no intention of doing that. We will do our best to keep parts and kits in stock.

One piece of bad news is that Hyperformance is no longer in business. They closed up earlier this month. I guess, since the Synergy SE parts came out that it wasn't worth the time and trouble.

We have the new 50 size Synergy N5 on order. It should be coming in soon.
